MBTA 1988 Token
A piece of Boston transit history, each "Series of 1988" token was issued by the MBTA as early as 1988. The bearer of a token could use it at the turnstiles to enter an MBTA rapid transit or subway station, or board a light rail vehicle. Each token features the T logo on one side and a stylized rapid transit vehicle on the other. Tokens are sold as is, showing the wear of decades of use. Tokens are not in mint condition. Each token is just over 3/4" in diameter and just under 3/16" thick.
