State Sales Tax
6.25% Massachusetts sales tax is automatically calculated and added to orders shipping to an address within Massachusetts or orders to be picked up at the our store in Cambridge, MA.
Picking Up An Order
Customers have the option to pick up their order at our store in Cambridge, MA. Orders will not be ready until after MBTAgifts contacts the customer and confirms that the order is ready.
We offer shipping via the United States Postal Service and UPS to addresses within the continental United States. We offer two flat rates for shipping to addresses within the continental United States. The flat rates are $5.95 for USPS Priority Mail and $11.95 for UPS Ground. We also offer shipping via the United States Postal Service to addresses in Canada, the United Kingdom, and non-continental US states and territories; calculated or static rates are charged.
MBTAgifts accepts returns on unopened, stock items in resalable condition only. Returns are accepted within 30 days of date of original purchase only. Proof of purchase (email receipt, printed receipt, etc.) must be provided. Returns of non-defective and properly fulfilled items can be presented at our retail store or shipped back to MBTAgifts. Refunds will be provided for approved returns.
Custom products, including wooden, framed, and other customized or made-to-order products are not returnable nor exchangeable unless defective or damaged in shipment. Contact us regarding shipment damage and we'll replace in kind or provide a refund for the damaged item. Antique memorabilia including antique station signs, antique roll signs, and used equipment are not returnable nor exchangeable unless damaged in shipment. Contact us regarding any item damaged in shipment and we'll replace in kind or provide a refund if the item is irreplaceable.
Though MBTAgifts strives to create the highest quality products, MBTAgifts will replace or provide a refund for any defective item. Defective items must be presented within 30 days of date of original purchase in order to receive a replacement or refund. Proof of purchase (email receipt, printed receipt, etc.) must be provided. Returns of defective items can be presented at the WardMaps retail store or shipped back to MBTAgifts. An in-kind replacement or a refund will be provided for each returned defective item.
Improperly Fulfilled Orders
MBTAgifts will replace or provide a refund for any improperly fulfilled orders. Improperly fulfilled orders must be presented within 30 days of date of original purchase in order to receive a replacement order or refund. Proof of purchase (email receipt, printed receipt, etc.) must be provided. Please contact us regarding improperly fulfilled orders prior to sending items back.
Items Damaged In Shipping
Though robust packaging and shipping methods are used, damage of any items in shipment will be addressed by MBTAgifts. MBTAgifts will ask for a customer's assistance in processing any claims against a shipper. Once the claim has been resolved with the shipper, we will offer a replacement or refund for the damaged item. Please contact us regarding items damaged in shipping prior to returning the items.
MBTAgifts reuses undamaged corrugated cardboard shipping containers and packing materials that we receive shipments in. This practice also keeps costs down for our customers by limiting the number of new shipping containers we need to purchase. Whenever possible, MBTAgifts purchases papers, boards and shipping containers that contain recycled content. MBTAgifts recycles 100% of our scrap paper and board products, keeping these materials out of landfills. MBTAgifts utilizes Zipcar car sharing service to transport items.
The MBTAgifts is operated by WardMaps LLC under contract from the MBTA. Though MBTAgifts features protected content of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), this website is not owned nor operated by the MBTA and the MBTA bears no liability with respect to transactions conducted with MBTAgifts.
